Elementary Theater Program | Props & Set Design

For the past three years, I've volunteered with a local elementary school's theater program, Holton Elementary.

Working alongside students and families to design and build props and sets for school productions is rewarding and tons of fun!

This work demonstrates my ability to:

  • Collaborate with young learners in a creative problem-solving process

  • Manage materials, timelines, and safety in a hands-on environment

  • Build community through art-making

Foundational Samples

I can teach all foundational studio practices, from drawing and painting to 3D forms and digital design.

These samples represent the breadth of my technical knowledge:

+3D Work: Ceramics (BFA focus), Hand-building, wheel-throwing, sculpture

+Drawing: Observational drawing, figure studies, perspective

+Screenprinting: Color theory, composition, craft

+Design: Typography, layout, visual communication

My Studio Work | Practicing Artist

I maintain an active studio practice focused on abstract acrylic collage, printmaking, and painting. My work has been exhibited at Torpedo Factory Art Center, Visual Arts Center of Richmond, and Alexandria Art League.

Students benefit from seeing working artists who wrestle with the creative process, take risks, and stay engaged with contemporary art.
  • Abstract paintings & collage

  • Letterpress & printmaking

  • Mixed media work
